Alsa coach, direct, no change
Alsa
The parts people get wrong. Each one links to where we checked it.
Status
There is currently no direct Madrid-Lisbon train: the historic overnight Trenhotel Lusitania sleeper was permanently discontinued after its 2020 pandemic suspension, and today's rail option needs a change of train via Badajoz/Elvas. The genuinely direct, no-change option on this corridor today is Alsa's daily coach service, taking roughly 7-8 hours.
