There is no airport bus at Ponta Delgada. The page the airport itself titles "Public Transportation" lists two things — taxis, and an adapted taxi service run by Cresaçor — and no bus at all. The same page at Horta does print a Bus heading, so this is an absence the airport is stating rather than one it forgot.

Easy to get wrong
The Ponta Delgada city minibus network does not reach the terminal either. Its four lettered lines, A to D, cover the historic centre and the residential districts; the word airport does not appear on its network map.

The airport is under three kilometres from the middle of Ponta Delgada, and taxis wait at Arrivals with nothing to book in advance. It is the shortest airport-to-city hop in this catalogue.
