Before you land

The parts people get wrong. Each one links to where we checked it.

  • Fixed fare

AE Line has its own special fare (200 CZK adult one-way, 100 CZK for children 6-15) - an ordinary DPP/PID public-transport ticket is not valid on it, unlike the regular city buses that also reach the airport.

  • Hours

Runs at regular 30-minute intervals; towards the airport from 05:30 to 22:00, back towards the main station from 05:30 to 20:53 - later arrivals need a regular PID bus/metro combination instead.

  • Tickets

České dráhy sells a combined TRAIN+ ticket covering both the rail leg into Prague and this bus onward to the airport at a discount, even though DPP operates the bus itself, not ČD.
