A1 and A2 are the same service to different terminals: A1 starts and ends at Terminal 1, A2 at Terminals 2B and 2C. Taking the wrong one means an inter-terminal shuttle at the far end.

L9 Sud does not reach the city centre. It runs from the two terminals to Zona Universitària, and a change is needed at Collblanc, Torrassa, Can Tries–Gornal or Zona Universitària for anywhere central.

Ordinary metro tickets do not work at the airport. The single ticket, the T-casual and the T-grup are all explicitly invalid there — only the dedicated Airport Ticket is accepted, and arriving without one means buying it before the barriers will let you out.

No Aerobús line stops at Barcelona Sants. For the mainline station the train or the metro is the connection, not this bus.

Where to go
The two rail options start in different places: the metro has a station at each terminal, while the Rodalies station is at Terminal 2 only. From Terminal 1 the free 24-hour inter-terminal shuttle is the way to reach the train.

The Plaça Universitat stop only works one way. It is served on the run from the airport into the city and not on the way back out.

A Rodalies ticket does not let you change onto the metro, the tram, the city bus or FGC, and it has to be bought before boarding and used within two hours of validation.

Tickets
Tickets are sold online, at machines around the city and the airport, by staff at the stops and on the bus itself. Cash is accepted with a maximum of €20 in change.

Tickets
The voucher printed on an Aerobús combined ticket can be redeemed at any metro station in Barcelona except the two airport stations, which is exactly where an arriving passenger would try to use it.
