    Barcelona-Sevilla AVE passengers used to have to change trains at Madrid Atocha -- a direct, no-change service was reinstated in March 2026 after a prior suspension, and the route now runs as a single train the whole way, one of the longest domestic AVE journeys in Spain at about 5h33-5h37 for 829 km.

  • Hours

    There appears to be only one confirmed daily departure pair on this corridor -- Sevilla 06:00 to Barcelona/Figueres 12:41-13:44, returning Barcelona 16:58 to Sevilla 22:49 except Saturdays -- so this is not a frequent, turn-up-and-go service the way the shorter AVE corridors are.
