direct, the jointly-operated Enterprise service, roughly hourly, 15 departures a day Monday-Saturday from 6am, 8 on Sunday -- recurring weekend engineering works periodically substitute rail-replacement buses for part of the journey, so check current status before travel rather than assuming an unbroken service

  • Status

Translink's own Enterprise service page states trains depart roughly every hour from Belfast Grand Central to Dublin Connolly, 15 times a day Monday to Saturday from 6am and 8 times a day on Sunday, jointly operated with Iarnrod Eireann.

  • Easy to get wrong

The Enterprise line has a recurring pattern of weekend engineering-works closures on its Irish end (Dublin-Drogheda-Dundalk), with rail-replacement buses substituted for the affected segment rather than the whole route being cancelled -- travellers should check live status before a weekend trip.
