Where to go
The regional station is underground beneath Terminal 1 and reachable from all terminal areas A, B and C; a separate long-distance Fernbahnhof, about a five-minute walk from Terminal 1, is where ICE and IC trains stop instead.

Easy to get wrong
Frankfurt Airport has two separate stations. Regional trains (S8, S9, and RB58/RE59/RE2/RE3) use the Regionalbahnhof; long-distance ICE/IC trains use the Fernbahnhof. This journey is the regional one, so follow the signs to the Regionalbahnhof.
