Easy to get wrong
Only some trips call at the airport, and the timetable marks them with a single letter: the footnote reads "a - Via Aeroporto". A departure without that flag drives past on the expressway.

Status
No official source publishes a departure time from the airport itself. The sheets clock only the Funchal and Machico ends, so the airport is an unclocked intermediate stop — plan from the Machico or Funchal column, not from the airport.

Fixed fare
Unlike the Aerobus, this is an ordinary network service, so a normal intermunicipal ticket covers it at €2.65 on board. The airport and Machico are in different municipalities, which is why the municipal fare does not apply.
