Easy to get wrong
At just under 12 hours minimum, this is nearly twelve times the fastest Paris-Nice TGV; FlixBus's own page indicates this route includes intermediate stops rather than running non-stop, so it should be understood as a long-haul overnight-friendly budget option, not a fast direct alternative to flying or the train.

Status
Sources disagree on the fastest time: the LGV Méditerranée's own infrastructure figure is 5h35, while ticket-search aggregators quote a fastest of 5h42 and a same-day average closer to 6h41 — expect the trip to run noticeably longer than the headline figure most of the time.

Easy to get wrong
Only the Paris-Marseille portion of this journey runs on the dedicated LGV Méditerranée high-speed line; the Marseille-Nice portion follows the same slower coastal regional line documented on the Marseille-Nice corridor in this dataset, so the whole trip cannot be timed by doubling the Paris-Marseille speed.

Where to go
The Nice end can drop at the airport itself (Terminal 1) as well as the Vauban city bus station, which is useful for a traveller connecting onward by plane rather than needing central Nice.
