Vivi's own winter-timetable notice confirms Riga-Daugavpils keeps 6 daily trains in each direction, but explicitly flags that one of the six is a connecting service requiring passengers to change from an electric to a diesel train at Aizkraukle -- that connecting working is not this direct corridor.
