Easy to get wrong
Arlanda Central has served Stockholm commuter rail (Pendeltåg) since December 2012 on top of the long-distance SJ and Mälartåg services that already called there - a traveller who only checks Arlanda Express prices can miss a materially cheaper direct alternative on the same platforms.

Arlanda Express's own site advertises a discounted advance-purchase fare from 199 SEK; the standard walk-up one-way adult fare is materially higher (340 SEK per its Wikipedia entry) - a traveller booking last-minute at the airport should expect to pay more than the headline promotional price.

SL's Pendeltåg Line 40 (Uppsala C - Arlanda C - Stockholm City - Södertälje centrum) takes 38 minutes from Arlanda C to Stockholm C, roughly double the Arlanda Express's 18 minutes, but at commuter-rail fares rather than the dedicated airport-express premium.

Hours
Trains run non-stop and very frequently (every 10-15 minutes for most of the day), making this the fastest way to central Stockholm at 18 minutes - but it is also the most expensive of the several direct rail options to Arlanda, see the separate SL/SJ/Mälartåg entry for a cheaper, slower alternative.
