Before you land

The parts people get wrong. Each one links to where we checked it.

  • Where to go

The metro station is inside the airport, on the ground floor of the regional flights terminal, and Metrovalencia keeps a staffed information office in the arrivals area.

  • Hours

There is no line 150 service towards the airport on Sundays or public holidays. On those days the metro is the only public transport out to the airport, whatever the bus timetable elsewhere suggests.

  • Easy to get wrong

Lines 3 and 5 both start at the airport and go to different parts of Valencia: line 3 runs to the centre, the university district and the northern suburbs, line 5 to the centre and the port. Taking whichever comes first is a coin toss.

    aena.es · checked 2026-09-07

  • Hours

On a Sunday or a public holiday the first line 3 train is at 07:07 rather than 05:27, and the first line 5 at 07:35. An early Sunday departure cannot be caught by metro at all.

  • Easy to get wrong

Line 150 is a metropolitan bus, not an airport express: it calls at Mislata, Quart de Poblet and Manises on the way into Valencia.

    aena.es · checked 2026-09-07

  • Fixed fare

The airport single on line 150 is €4.80 — more than three times the €1.45 ordinary single printed on the same page — and it can be bought from the driver.

    aena.es · checked 2026-09-07

  • Hours

Line 5 starts nearly an hour later than line 3 on weekday mornings — 06:21 against 05:27 — so for the earliest flights line 3 is the only one running.
