ICE line 10 (Berlin Gesundbrunnen – Berlin Hbf – Hannover – Bielefeld – Hamm – Dortmund – Duisburg – Düsseldorf) only extends to Cologne/Bonn Airport on select workings, not on every ICE 10 departure — a traveller has to check the specific train, not just the line number, before assuming it stops at the airport.

A faster, limited-stop ICE Sprinter also runs Berlin to Cologne/Bonn up to four times a day, though DB's own page notes construction restrictions on this corridor lasting through 6 February 2026 that can affect which of the two options is actually running on a given date.
