The line most travel guides still call "S13" to the airport was replaced by the S19 on the Cologne Airport loop; S13 has not been reinstated, so timetables or directions still naming it are out of date.

The Regional-Express line RE 8 also runs over the airport loop, hourly, alongside the roughly three-times-an-hour S19 — a faster RE departure is often the better choice if one is due soon.
