Easy to get wrong
Oriente is the airport's rail gateway and it is on the same red line — no metro change is needed. From there the CP lines to Sintra, Azambuja and the north depart, which is why almost every onward journey out of Lisbon starts with this one hop.

Easy to get wrong
There is no train from the airport itself. Sintra, Cascais, Estoril and Setúbal all require changing from the metro to another operator, and CP prices its part by counting zones from the station you actually board at — not from the airport.

Where to go
The station is inside the Gare Intermodal on Avenida de Berlim, where the metro, the mainline trains and the long-distance coaches meet under one roof.
