Quoted EIP journey times have shifted noticeably between timetable changes (reports ranging roughly 2h25 to 2h46 for the fastest service) due to infrastructure works on the conventional line this route uses - unlike Warsaw-Kraków there is no dedicated high-speed line here.

Easy to get wrong
Pendolino (EIP) runs about 11 times daily on this corridor, but IC/TLK/EIC services also cover it at a lower fare and longer journey time - the cheapest ticket is not automatically the slowest by a large margin on every departure.
