Hours
Both IC81 (from Zürich) and IC61 (from Basel) terminate their run into Interlaken Ost via this same Bern-Spiez-Interlaken leg, plus additional IR services, giving roughly a train every 30 minutes; most direct workings take 47-49 minutes, though the fastest individual service on record took as little as 31 minutes and the slowest 53.

Easy to get wrong
This SBB InterCity/InterRegio service only runs on SBB-owned track as far as Spiez; from Spiez to Interlaken it continues on the 27.9 km Lake Thun railway line, owned and operated by BLS AG since taking it over from the independent Lake Thun Railway company in 1913 - the final leg actually runs on BLS infrastructure, not SBB's own network.
