The DLR station is elevated and adjoins the terminal directly - unlike Luton or Stansted there is no separate people-mover or shuttle bus leg between the gate and the platform.

Easy to get wrong
The Elizabeth line passes only about 300 metres south of the airport but has no station there - TfL confirmed in 2025 that adding one would slow existing Elizabeth line journeys, so the DLR remains the only rail option despite the Elizabeth line's physical proximity.
